The First Russian-Chinese Forum of Higher Pedagogical Education One Belt One Road was held in Xi'an (People's Republic of China) from 21 October 2018 to 23 October 2018. The Event was organised at the initiative of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and Shaanxi Normal University (SNU). The Forum was attended by representatives from 41 universities of Russia and China. The Forum had five thematic sections devoted to the issues of Chinese-Russian exchanges and programs of scientific and educational cooperation within the framework of the One Belt One Road initiative, to the discussion of forward-looking models of pedagogical education of the 21st century in Russia and China, to the innovations in the field of teaching Russian language and Russian literature, to the modern approaches and technologies of teaching subject disciplines, etc. During the Forum, a solemn opening ceremony of the Research Institute of Pedagogy One Belt One Road of Shaanxi Normal University was held. This Institute is intended to become a platform for cooperation between Russia and China in the implementation of joint Russian-Chinese educational programs and projects. The final session summed up the results of the Forum and put forward key initiatives in the framework of the new mega-project Teacher of the Silk Road of the 21st century: -  to create a virtual methodical platform with the participation of universities, the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation and branches of Moscow State University in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan on the basis of the remote scientific educational platform of Moscow State University University without Borders -  to use the virtual school lab digital resource to conduct physics and mathematics lessons -  to create the International Association of Young Mathematicians -  to attract the staff capacity of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University to the constant interaction of Russia and China in the field of pedagogical education -  to support the scientific creativity of young people, including organizing joint summer schools and Olympiads in computer technology and robotics on an ongoing basis.
