AESC MSU student Vladimir Romanov won the gold medal at the 29th International Olympiad in Informatics - IOI, which was held from September 1 to September 8, 2018 in Tsukuba (Japan). Schoolchildren from more than 80 countries of the world took part in the Olympiad. Vladimir Romanov became the 21st in the overall rankings, getting 353 points. The Olympiad is held in two rounds, each of which is given for five hours. During this time, it is necessary to solve and program three algorithmic problems. The results of the competition are summed up in the individual all-around format.
