III Universiade in Mathematics
Date /III Universiade in Mathematics for the 1st-4th Year Students will be opened on May 17 at 15:00. The Universiade is organized and conducted by the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Lomonosov MSU. Best performing students who have already won prizes at various Olympiads organized by the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics departments will participate in the Universiade. Moreover, this year’s Universiade will welcome participating students from other higher education institutions, namely, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Saint Petersburg State University (Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics). Based on the Universiade results, MSU will select members for the team that will represent the University at the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMC) which will take place in Bulgaria from July 29 to August 4, 2014.
