International Day of Volunteers

Today, December 5, Russia celebrates the International Day of Volunteers. The festival aims to draw public attention to such an important cause as volunteering-free assistance for the benefit of society.
MSU Volunteer Center on the basis of the MSU Student Union (https://vk.com/volunteers_msu) provides assistance in organizing and conducting events of the Moscow State University, as well as large-scale events in Moscow and the country as a whole. Since 2014, the Volunteer Center has successfully carried out its activities in the following areas: sports volunteering, medical volunteers, international volunteering, event volunteering, protocol volunteering, Victory Volunteers, etc.
Volunteer Day was approved by the UN General Assembly in 1985, and since then, more and more concerned people, inspired by this movement, join the ranks of volunteers! In Russia, the holiday was established by presidential decree on November 27, 2017.
The holiday has an international status and is successfully celebrated in many countries.
