On 22 February 2021 students honored the memory of the war dead laying flowers at the monument Meeting of the Western Front command staff. October 1941 in the Mozhaisky District (Moscow region) on the territory of the MSU Rest House Krasnovidovo.
This monument perpetuated a historical fact - a meeting of the Western and Reserve fronts command staff with the participation of the Headquarters of the Supreme High Command representatives, who decided to appoint Georgy Zhukov as the commander of the Western Front and adopted the plan for Moscow defense in the autumn-winter period of 1941.
The ceremony of flower-laying took place within the framework of the All-Russian action Protect the Memory of Heroes, which is designed to honor the memory of the millions who died in the Great Patriotic War.
