MSU students organized a video festival "Memory in granite"
Date /MSU Students organized a video festival Memory in granite within the framework of the Festival of student creativity Towards the Great Victory in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Students took pictures of huge memorial complexes and modest memorials, monuments, obelisks, stelae and mass graves.
Videos were sent from different cities and towns of Russia: Moscow, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Korolev, Kemerovo, Nalchik, Grozny, Davlekanovo, Orel, Glazov, Nazran, Cheboksary, Sochi, Ruza, etc.
The video festival was attended by Students of ten universities that are part of the Vernadsky scientific and educational consortia: Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kemerovo State University, Kabardino-Balkar State University, Oryol State University, State Humanitarian and Technical University, Chechen State University, Ingush State University, Leonov Technological University, Korolenko Glazov State Pedagogical Institute participated in the video festival.
Monuments are overgrown with grass, names and dates are erased from them, and they may not be noticed. But they remind us of the terrible days of 1941-1945 and of those who stood to the death for our present day and future.
The youth of Lomonosov Moscow State University sincerely thanks students from all universities for supporting the idea of holding a video festival and looks forward to further cooperation with students from regional universities!
