Programme of the Eco-week 17-25 September 2022

We invite you to take part in the Eco-week, which will be held on September 17-25, 2022 at the Moscow University as a part of the student project "Vorobyovy Gory eco-campus". The project is organised by the All-Russian Student Club "Vernadsky" with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Eco-week is a series of events aimed at increasing the level of ecological awareness, involvement of youth into the ecological agenda, development of "green skills" and creative potential of students in the sphere of ecological initiatives.
The goals of the Eco-week are:
- To unite the efforts of Moscow University student organisations in the field of environmental education,
- to establish cooperation between students and specialists of Moscow State University, the Vernadsky scientific and educational consortium and other organizations in the field of ecology and sustainable development,
- to develop interregional youth cooperation and exchange of best environmental practices of the universities in the regions of the Vernadsky scientific and educational consortia.
The following events will take place as part of the Eco-week:
All-Russian ecological conference, ecological games, recycling events, book and plant exchange, discussion evenings in dormitories, a book eco-club, a workshop on eco-volunteering, and a co-working session on sharing best ecological practices of Russian universities.
The Eco-week will launch the Eco-initiative: Towards Change competition for students' environmental initiatives, as well as a workshop on how to prepare an application to this competition.
