There are dates that are significant for Russian culture. They undoubtedly include October 19 - the day of the Pushkin Lyceum. On the initiative of the Moscow State University, MAPRYAL and the Society of Russian Literature, the International Scientific, Educational, cultural and Educational event Pushkin Autumn was held on this day. Within the framework of this event, a scientific and practical conference was held, which was attended by about 500 people. In total, about 1,100 people from 25 countries of the world registered to participate in the "Pushkin Autumn", which in addition to the conference included creative competitions and the international student Poetry Bridge. A lot has been said and written about Pushkin's significance for Russian and world culture, and at the same time, the rector of Moscow State University, Academician Viktor A. Sadovnichy, who opened the plenary session, captured the audience's attention with little-known facts about the poet's ties with Moscow State University, in particular, about Pushkin's visit to Moscow University in 1832. The Rector of Beijing Normal University, Professor Dong Qi, President of the Chinese Association for International Exchange in Education, Professor Lu Limin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Academy of Education, Professor Olga Yu. Vasilyeva and the President of MAPRYAL Vladimir Tolstoi also addressed the plenary session. 


After the plenary session, the host and author of the General idea of the action Vice-rector of Moscow State University Professor Tatiana Kortava announced the beginning of the workshops, the issues which concerned both the theoretical issues of language and poetics of the works of A. S. Pushkin and practice of teaching the Russian language to a foreign audience. The topics of the reports were equally diverse. The remote format did not seem to interfere with the live communication of the conference participants at all. The speakers shared new ideas and teaching methods with each other. Teacher Fu Xizhu from School No. 6 in Baotou (Inner Mongolia) has long treated Pushkin as a friend and like-minded person. He is sure that if his students see an interesting person in Pushkin, they will learn the language faster and with more interest. The sessions were held in 6 sections: "Pushkin Studies in Russia and abroad", "The Language of Pushkin", "Translations of Pushkin's works", "Pushkin's Works in the Chinese school", "Pushkin's Works in the Russian school" and the youth section "Encyclopedia of Russian Life".

An hour and a half sessions flew instantly, and"Pushkin autumn" continued international online project "Pushkin bridge", in which contests photos of the monument to Pushkin, drawings — illustrations to the works of the poet, the project "Journey to Pushkin places and museums", music and poetry. The winners were announced and awarded.

The event ended with a literary and poetic composition prepared by students and teachers of the Moscow State University and the Joint Russian-Chinese University of Moscow State University-PPI in Shenzhen.
