On July 17-19, 2019, a methodical seminar Training and advanced training of pre-university educational institutions teachers of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China was held in the city of Baotou (People's Republic of China). The event was organized by the Joint center for advanced training of Moscow State University and Beijing Normal University professors and the Association of pre-university educational institutions of Russia and China. The seminar was held in Baotou School No. 6 (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region).

         More than 90 specialists took part in the seminar, 70 of them were secondary school teachers.

         Chinese teachers of Russian held demo lessons, which were attended by leading professors of Beijing Normal University and Lomonosov Moscow State University.

         On July 17, 2019, AESC MSU Associate Professor Leyla Aliyeva and IRLC Senior Professor Victor M. Mazanik delivered lectures and held a demo lesson. The guests told about MSU history, educational programs, the current state of the University and the system of foreign students preparation to study at MSU main faculties (Victor M. Mazanik). They also talked about the significance of the Unified State Exam in the modern education system of the Russian Federation, the methodology of teaching Russian language and literature at school for gifted children on the example of AESC MSU (Leyla Aliyeva).

         In conclusion, a demo lesson was held by the 2nd year student of the Faculty of Sociology of Moscow State University, Van Yumen, and the 3rd year student of Moscow State Pedagogical University, Tian Menchu (both are graduates of school No. 6 of Baotou). Chinese professors vividly reacted and asked to elaborate on certain topics (for example, Holidays in Russia, Sport).

         The constructive dialogue that took place during the international seminar demonstrates the importance of such meetings, when colleagues can share their accumulated experience, talk about complex pedagogical issues and achievements. Participation in such events helps to establish direct contacts between professors of Russia and China, as well as contributes to the creation of joint educational projects.
