Vernadsky – Chechen Republic consortium

On December 28, 2020, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Academician Viktor Sadovnichy, and the Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic, a graduate of Moscow University, Muslim Khuchiev, signed a memorandum on the establishment of the Vernadsky – Chechen Republic consortium.
Anticipating the signing of the agreement, Viktor Sadovnichy noted that the agreement was reached in 2019 during his visit to Grozny. And joint projects have already begun to be implemented. So, over the past year, about 200 students of Chechen universities have participated in conferences and other events of Moscow University. Muslim Khuchiev called the new consortium a serious step in the scientific, educational and socio-economic development of the region.
