Volunteers of Joint Russian-Chinese University in Shenzhen
Date /By the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the year 2018 has been declared the Year of Volunteers. Our Chinese students also don’t stand aside: the volunteer movement is actively developing at Joint Russian-Chinese University. In August 2017, eight first-year master's degree students-philologists helped first-year bachelors, who just started to learn Russian, to cope with an intensive and busy curriculum.
The first academic year is over, but the tradition of volunteering continues: it was decided to hold a competition among those who wish to help first-year students during the intensive Russian course in August this year (there were too many people). Yang Li (Faculty of Philology, 1 year), Liu Xuanyu (Faculty of Materials Science, 1 year), Li Yilin (Faculty of Philology, 1 year), Peng Wei (Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, 1 year), Jin Chen (Faculty of Philology, 1 year), Zou Hanliue (Faculty of Philology, 1 year), Zhang Dan (Faculty of Philology, master's degree student), Wang Jilin (Faculty of Philology, master's degree student) will work as volunteers according to its results.
It is safe to say that the volunteer movement will become one of the strongest student life traditions of Joint Russian-Chinese University in Shenzhen!
