Chinese student team of Moscow State University will take part at an international tournament on e-sports Ugra Open, which will be held on June 6-7 in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra as part of International IT-Forum with BRICS and SCO participation. The participation of MSU team in the tournament was organized by the head of the Association of foreign graduates who live and work in Russia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Geology Gabriel Kochofa. 16 teams will compete in multiplayer games Dota 2 and FIFA 18. The total prize fund of the tournament is 500,000 rubles. MSU team consists of a first-year postgraduate student of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics Qin Wei, a student of the Institute of Russian Language and Culture Ouyang Jiquet, a first-year postgraduate student of the Higher School of Translation and Interpretation (Faculty) Wang Yujing and second-year students of the Higher School of Translation and Interpretation (Faculty) Yang Yi Yuan and Yao Li.
