STUDENT COUNCIL
MSU Student Council is the only elected representative body of Moscow State University, consisting entirely of representatives of students of faculties. The mission of the Student Council of Moscow State University is the solution of educational and social problems of students, the formation of self-management skills.
MSU Student Council includes representatives from all faculties of Moscow University. Chairmen of Student Councils of faculties represent the interests of students in the Academic Councils of their faculties. The Chairman of the Student Council represents the interests of MSU students at the Academic Council of Moscow State University (the supreme governing body of the university), the scholarship commission of Moscow State University and other MSU governing bodies before the university administration.

JOINT STUDENT COMMITTEE
The Joint Student Committee (JSC) of Lomonosov Moscow State University is a student self-government body founded in 1969.
Representing the interests of 15 thousand students, postgraduates and applicants living in MSU dormitories is an honorable duty for the JSC team. The structure of the MSU dormitories includes seven independently functioning campuses.
Each campus needs a strong team of JSC representatives who are able to effectively solve the problems of residents and conduct a constructive dialogue with representatives of the administration.
The main tasks that USC sets for itself on each campus:
1. Monitoring the problems of the hostel, discussing these problems with students and employees of the MSU. Search for optimal solutions and assist in their elimination.
2. Creation and improvement of the mechanism of constructive interaction between JSC and the University administration at all levels of the University management system.
3. Annual planning of the most convenient settlement of students on campuses and coordination with the faculties and staff of the MSU.
4. Participation of JSC representatives in the preparation of documents related to important decisions for the University, problems of public life and the rights of residents.
5. Advising residents on their rights and obligations, providing residents with information about the mechanisms for protecting their rights and liability for violations of internal regulations.
6. JSC MSU must promptly inform the residents of all important events that occur in the hostel. It is necessary to develop information resources for successful work with students.
7. Assistance in the implementation of ideas and projects of residents. Every year, our students have many initiatives that can improve life in the hostel, and it is our duty to make every effort to implement them.
The main tasks are listed, but the goal of USC MSU is the same-the University for each student should become a place where he can always get protection and support, a place that the student is proud to call his Alma Mater.

YOUTH AND STUDENT TEAMS
The time of the emergence of student groups is considered to be the spring of 1959, when 339 physics students of Lomonosov Moscow State University named went to the Virgin Land in the North Kazakhstan region (Bulaevsky district), where they built 16 objects. Over the summer, they managed to build 12 residential buildings, a calf house, two poultry houses and a rabbit house. Soon, students from other universities began to arrive on the Virgin Land.
Student teams are the largest youth direction in the country, which provides temporary employment for more than 240 thousand young people from 74 regions of the Russian Federation
Student groups are a labor school and civil-patriotic education, a place for the formation of leadership skills and friendly relationships.
Student teams - it's the family that brought together students of Russia under one banner.
Student groups are a corner where they will always understand.
Student construction teams (SCT) — they are entrusted with the construction of Olympic facilities, the Universiade in Kazan, the Bovanenkovskoye oil and gas condensate field, bridge crossings in Vladivostok in preparation for the APEC Summit, the Vostochny and Plesetsk cosmodromes, facilities for the Football Championship, as well as many other objects of All-Russian significance.
Student teaching teams (STT) are a school of labor and civil - patriotic education, a place for the formation of leadership skills and friendly relationships. STT annually organize training (tutor) and vacation holidays for children, primarily in children's camps in their regions, and work in children's centers of federal significance. Traditionally, a large number of counselors of the RSO work in the camps of the Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
Student Service Teams (SST) are jobs in the hospitality industry. They especially distinguished themselves at well-known venues: at the APEC-2012 Summit, in 2014 at the XXII Olympic and XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, in 2016 in Yalta of the Republic of Crimea at the Yalta-Intourist Hotel Complex, in 2017 at the World Festival of Youth and Students.
Student guides teams (SGT) help fighters not only earn money, but also to see other cities, meet and communicate with new interesting people, try their hand at a serious, responsible business. The railway is a high-risk industry, and it does not tolerate disregard for the rules.
During the year, the teams hold events at the university, regional and all-Russian levels - competitions, singing, competitions and schools. There is no need for natural talents - anyone can participate, just at such events, and hidden abilities are revealed.

VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE CLUB
The Club of the Volunteer Fire Brigade at Lomonosov Moscow State University was established on December 17, 2011 with the support of the Head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow Eliseev and the Rector of the University Viktor Sadovnichy.
Our tasks:
- Theoretical and practical training of university students in fire and rescue work;
- Informing the residents of the dormitories about the practical rules of fire safety;
- Creation of a rapid response team on duty: evacuation, fire fighting;
- Checking the buildings of the MSU complex for violations of fire safety rules.
Our events:
- Social and mass events within the walls of the University (Maslenitsa, Tatiana's Day, etc.);
- Regular exercises and training within the framework of the EMERCOM training program;
- Field duty at major events in Moscow
- Preventive supervision in a complex of buildings of Moscow state University;
All this is not just words, the team of fire brigades really apply their skills in practice, organizing the evacuation of students from the dormitories of the Main Building of Moscow State University, as well as actively participating in firefighting, thereby saving many lives and preventing a terrible tragedy. Distinguished vigilantes are awarded departmental and state awards.
